The past few weeks have been filled with the first tastes of Spring! What a wonderful time of year, especially in the South. Greenville is overflowing with the colors of the season as all the beautiful flowers are in bloom...the azaleas and dogwoods are stunning! Jack has seen his first bunnies hopping in the backyard and has watched our feathered friends splashing in the birdbath. How thankful we are for the new life and growth that comes each Spring.
We have certainly had spring fever and have been outside taking advantage of the amazing weather as much as possible. The grill has been fired up, Jack's pool has been inflated and filled, and we have been swinging at the park. If only the weather would stay just like this!! Unfortunately, the heat of the North Carolina summer is right around the corner. Until it grabs hold of us and we are forced inside to the air conditioning, we will continue to take advantage of all the season has to offer.
Our most favorite time of these Spring days comes when Daddy gets home from work and we are able to take a walk around the neighborhood together. Jack so enjoys this time outside at the end of the day and I so enjoy these special moments with our family. It certainly is the little things in life that mean the most.
Happy Spring!
